Salaam ‘ilm seeker,
I would be lying if I said money isn’t important.
Because it is.
It’s why some countries are able to do so much damage without any repercussions (you know what I’m talking about).
They have spent billions of dollars to control the media and alter perception.
Money matters.
That’s why as muslims we shouldn’t shy away from earning a $1million, $2million, $3million…/year.
So long as that’s not the end goal.
The goal is to please Allah swt first.
“Whoever is concerned about the Hereafter,
Allah will place richness in his heart,
bring his affairs together,
and the world will inevitably come to him.
Whoever is concerned about the world,
Allah will place poverty between his eyes,
disorder his affairs,
and he will get nothing of the world but what is decreed for him.”
